How to Earn Points by Sharing nexu

nexu offers an extra points reward system. You can earn additional points through daily point drops, supporting the open-source project, and sharing nexu on social platforms.

What Points You Can Earn

Here are the rewards currently available:

• Daily points: +100 points, automatically sent to your nexu account every day and expire the next day at midnight
• GitHub Star: +700 points, one-time only
• Share on X: +200 points, available once per week
• Post on Reddit: +200 points, available once per week
• Post on LinkedIn: +200 points, available once per week
• Share on Facebook: +200 points, available once per week
• Share on WhatsApp: +200 points, available once per week
• Share the nexu GitHub repository from mobile to Feishu, WeChat, and similar apps: +200 points, available once per week

How to Get Points

You can check all reward tasks and your current points status on the Rewards page in the nexu client.

Different tasks work as follows.

1. Daily points are granted automatically

Daily points are automatically sent to your nexu account every day. No manual check-in or claiming is required.

2. Star us on GitHub

Open the GitHub link in the task, star the nexu repository, then return to the Rewards page to complete confirmation.

3. Share nexu on social platforms

You can share nexu on X, Reddit, LinkedIn, Facebook, or WhatsApp. After sharing, return to the Rewards page and follow the prompt to claim the reward.

You can also share the nexu GitHub repository from mobile directly to apps such as Feishu or WeChat. This also qualifies for reward points.

• Daily points are granted automatically, so no manual check-in is needed
• The GitHub Star reward can only be claimed once
• Social sharing tasks are currently weekly tasks
• The mobile GitHub sharing task for Feishu, WeChat, and similar apps is also a weekly task

Task Refresh Time

• Daily tasks: refresh every day at UTC 0:00
• Weekly tasks: social sharing tasks refresh every Monday at UTC 0:00

Point Expiration

• Daily points: expire at UTC 23:59:59 on the same day
• Social sharing points: expire at UTC 23:59:59 seven days later
• GitHub Star points: expire at UTC 23:59:59 one month later
• Registration bonus points: expire at UTC 23:59:59 one month later

FAQ

Q: Why did I finish the task but not receive points immediately?

Social sharing and GitHub Star tasks usually still require confirmation on the Rewards page. If the points do not show up right away, refresh the page or try again later.

Q: Do I need to manually check in for daily points?

No. Daily points are sent to your nexu account automatically every day.

Q: When do weekly tasks refresh?

Social sharing tasks refresh every Monday at UTC 0:00.

Q: Is the registration bonus only for new users?

No. Existing registered users also receive 300 bonus points.

Q: Can I claim social sharing rewards again?

Most social sharing rewards can be claimed once per week. After the next eligible cycle starts, you can complete the task again and claim the reward again.
